“Both Chappellet Vineyard and Titus Vineyards have worked with Trust Hungarian oak barrels since 2006. We started out with just a few barrels in a Cabernet Sauvignon trial which included a number of well established French and American oak coopers. We were pleasantly surprised that the Trust barrels excelled beyond many of their competitors. These results have been consistent in numerous vintages with both Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Carneros Chardonnay. The quality and craftsmanship of the barrels has been excellent and the flavor profile of the barrels is elegant, spicy and distinctive. The cooperage is managed by a dedicated team of professionals that are passionate about the quality and reputation of their product. The Trust cooperage has earned our respect and business by delivering a very high quality product at a great price accompanied by top notch customer service.

“I have been using Trust Cooperage barrels for eight years, and from day one until the present I have never been disappointed by their style, performance, and craftsmanship. Having used them on a multitude of red grapes (Cab Sav, Cab Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel), I find the Trust barrels to be very versatile to use. I have no hesitation in recommending Trust barrels, they have earned my trust!

“Since 2006, Francis Ford Coppola Winery has aged Sonoma County wines in Trust barrels. With each vintage, we took steps to fine tune the barrel parameters to enhance the fruit expression and overall wine style. The Team at Trust understood our wine style and winemaking philosophy, and brought us samples from other wine producers that were very good examples of the influence of Trust barrels. As a result of that, our business with Trust has grown over the years. We now age wine in French, Hungarian and American oak from the Trust Cooperage. The folks at Trust are more like partners in our wine production, than just vendors, and we value that relationship.
